Our fees for standard wills and estate planning packages are primarily fixed fee. This is designed to meet the needs of most individuals and families.

Wills and Estate Planning Services: Pricing

The fees below are estimated ranges for standard plans. You will receive a personalized quote following the initial meeting. ​Please note that we do not store original wills, nor do we offer mutual will arrangements.​

Individual: Will + Enduring Power of Attorney + Personal Directive (3 Documents)

from $950.00 + GST

Couples: Wills + Enduring Powers of Attorney + Personal Directives (6 Mirror Documents)

from $1,500 + GST

Includes:

  • 1 x 60-min strategy meeting with Kendall + 1 x 30-min signing meeting with Kendall;

  • 1 round of minor revisions to drafts;

  • Advice regarding your beneficiary designations;

  • Advice regarding guardianship of minor children;

  • Advice regarding potential challenges to your estate;

  • Fully signed documents + e-copy of all signed documents;

  • Comes with free digital copy of contact list for you to customize.

Digital copies provided with in-person meetings at our office.

​ADDITIONAL FEES

  • Consulting on old/current wills, EPAs, PDs and other property agreements (lawyer’s hourly rate on time spent basis);

  • Additional rounds of drafting beyond 1st revision, or specialized drafting, e.g. trusts, non-standard clauses (lawyer’s hourly rate on time spent basis);

  • Reviewing family property division agreements (lawyer’s hourly rate on time spent basis);

  • Additional meetings beyond the two included (lawyer’s hourly rate on time spent basis);

  • Correspondence with third parties (lawyer’s hourly rate on time spent basis);

  • Rushes less than 10 business days ($250);

  • Off-site for home- or hospital-based meeting (from $150);

  • Providing witness for off-site meeting (from $150);

  • Video-signing meeting (from $300);

  • Registry searches or registered mail (cost recovery basis);

  • Additional copies of signed documents or notarized copies at signing meeting ($5.00 per copy)​​

Young Families with Children Under 18

For couples or individuals with newborns or young children.

Full estate and incapacity planning package with guardianship clauses and minor’s trust wording.

Blended Families & New Partnerships​

For individuals or couples in second+ marriages or with step-children. Planning often includes balancing fairness across relationships.

May involve trust planning or asset-specific instructions.

Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

We do. We aim to make evenings and weekend meetings work whenever possible.

Do you offer off-site estate planning services?

Yes, we may agree to attend assisted living residences, hospitals or similar residences. Please inquire within. Check our fees board for the additional costs that apply.

Do you offer urgent / emergency estate planning services?

Not at this time.​

Do you provide the witnesses?

The witness is provided without charge if we sign together at our office. Additional fees apply if we provide the witness for signing appointments elsewhere (subject to the lawyer’s prior agreement to off-site meetings).

Seniors and Retirees​

For those simplifying or updating an old plan. Often planning with adult children or grandchildren in mind.

Planning with clear instructions for personal representatives (i.e. executors, agents, attorneys, trustees).
